A cement mixer tanker overturned near Gunji on the Belagavi–Goa National Highway while en route from Bijapur, Karnataka, to Goa, leaving the driver injured.
According to sources, the vehicle lost control along the highway stretch and toppled onto its side, disrupting traffic movement for some time. Local authorities and emergency services rushed to the spot shortly after the incident was reported.

The injured driver was provided immediate medical assistance and shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment. His condition is said to be stable.
