MAYEM: Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar has advised senior citizens to make the best use of their remaining life by guiding youth to be self-sufficient in every respect.
Parrikar said it after inaugurating Senior Citizens Association ‘Jivananand’ at Khedekar hall. Speaking on the occasion, Sankhali MLA Dr Pramod Sawant assured all possible help for the welfare of senior citizens in the area. On the occasion, a senior citizen, M K Patil, was honoured with a shawl and memento by the chief minister.
Association President Dr Rajendra Sakhardande, Vice President Bhimrao Desai, Sadananad Kanekar, Secretary Balkrishna Sawaikar and Sagar Javdekar were present.
