MARGAO: A meeting of the South Goa Comunidades Forum has been convened on March 3. The meeting will be held at 10 am at Margao Comunidade meeting hall, Old Market.
The Comunidades of Goa have been facing rampant plunder of preserved land for a long time. The meet plans to discuss urgent matters facing the South Goa Comunidades and inaction of the authorities on illegal constructions.
Herald has time and again exposed the plunder of comunidade land at Pedamol, Monte Dongor, Talsanzor and the most recent Pajifond land grab. The meeting has been planned to discuss ways to recover these grabbed land.
