The Cuncolim police on Tuesday arrested two more persons in connection with the Global Ispat blast case.
Yeshwant Singh and Ram Kishan Sharma were today arrested by the police and later released on bail.
Three directors of Global Ispat were arrested by the police on Sunday and released on bail. The sixth accused, the crane operator has expired in the Goa Medical College and hospital, Bambolim.
When contacted, Cuncolim PI Sandesh Chodankar has said the police are awaiting the report from the Chief Inspector of Factories and Boilers to take further action in the matter. We are waiting for the Factories and Boilers to state the exact cause of the furnace blast, he added.
