CURCHOREM: Morailem and Bebquegal locals on Friday urged the BSNL authorities, to repair the mobile tower situated in the premises of Curchorem telephone exchange, on urgent basis, which is in bad shape.

In a written complaint submitted to the Curchorem Assistant, the locals have raised an alarm against the poor condition of the tower claiming that they live in fear as the tower may collapse on them and their nearby houses.
They claimed that the mobile tower requires immediate maintenance as many wild plants are grown over and around it. With no maintenance, the tower is rusted and holds electronic gadgets on it. They urged the authorities to undertake proper and periodical maintenance of the tower or shift it to some other place as the existing premises is in busy and densely populated residential area.
