Curchorem MLA offers to resign if MoI Bill not passed in Winter Session

CURCHOREM: Curchorem MLA Nilesh Cabral offered to resign if the bill enacting the MOI Act is not passed during coming winter session of the Goa Assembly.

This assurance he has given to the parents who had assembled in large numbers near the Ambedkar chowk, Curchorem on Friday to demand to pass MOI bill in the current session and to show solidarity and support to Savio Lopes. 
Cabral further informed the parents that the bill is already introduced in the assembly and due to some discrepancies pointed out; it was referred to a Select Committee. “Once the report comes from the committee, the bill will be passed in the assembly in the winter session which will be convened in December,” said Cabral. 
When parents demanded to pass the bill in this session, he said that due procedure has to be followed.
