VASCO: Youth of Dabolim, under the guidance of Youth Congress leader Mahesh Bhandari and his team, conducted an insecticide spraying drive in New Vaddem residential area. The drive was aimed at vector-borne diseases free healthy environment for the areas.
The drive got lot of response with people coming ahead and sharing their problems and raised concerns regarding the sanitation in their areas. The team has expressed their desire to continue the drive in the Dabolim Panchayat and Municipal areas and are looking forward for the same support from the locals there.
The team also indulged in informing people on keeping the areas free from the dreadful vector borne diseases.
Mahesh Bhandari said “As people area are aware that a young life was lost due to dengue during the rainy season. We feel that this shouldn’t repeat ever and hence along with fogging of the areas we are also educating people on how to keep area free of diseases” said Mahesh.
