PONDA: MGP Leader Dr Ketan Bhatikar has demanded that Election Commission (EC) should declare holiday on 12 December for the polling day of the ZIlla Panchayat Election.
He said workers from Industrial Estates have said that their respective companies have not declared December 12 as a holiday, so they will have to join duty if the holiday is not declared and have difficulty voting on that day.

He also spoke about EC declaring voting time for COVID-19 patients after 4 pm, while asking the EC to offer more clarity on what the safety measures are.
