MAPUSA: Pernem Police arrested one Aryamik Sen (23), native of Vasant Kunj, Delhi for allegedly possessing narcotic substance suspected to be ganja.
Police Inspector Jivba Dalvi informed that Pernem Police Station had received reliable information that one person is involved in drug activities in Arambol and on June 3, he will be coming to deliver the contraband to prospective customer. Based on reliable intelligence, the accused person was traced at Arambol and conducted a surprise raid during which the narcotic drugs ganja was found in his possession.

The ganja was immediately seized and taken into custody under the panchanama. The seized drugs is worth Rs 16,000 in international market and the alleged accused was booked under Section 20(B)(II)(A).
