Collem: Collem police have arrested Sarvesh, a resident of Sancorda, Dharbandora, on charges of allegedly molesting a minor girl, following a complaint filed by the victim’s mother.
According to police sources, the incident took place in December 2025 near the Panchayat Office at Sancorda and Deulwada in Dharbandora. The complaint states that the accused offered to drop the minor girl home in his Maruti Omni vehicle. During the journey, he allegedly touched the girl inappropriately and warned her not to disclose the incident to anyone.

Based on the complaint, Collem police registered a case and took the accused into custody. Further investigation is being conducted by LPSI Anjali Dhulapkar of Collem Police Station.
Police have registered offences under Section 75(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), 2023, Section 8 of the Goa Children Act, 2003, and Section 8 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, 2012. The investigation is currently in progress.
