They claimed that since the faculty members were busy with NAAC reaccreditation process, regular classes in September 2015 could not be conducted. This was adjusted through extra classes to also facilitate students not fulfilling the minimum attendance requirement.
On Monday aggrieved students had gheraoed the Vice Chancellor of Goa University demanding that their results, which had been withheld by the college as GU termed the exams as null and void, be declared. The varsity had referred to its ordinance – OC 45 – stating that remedial classes conducted by the college could not be taken into account.
