MARGAO: The Special Judge, Nutan Sardessai on Monday further remanded arrested Deputy Town Planner, Prakash Bandodkar to seven days police custody.
The accused was produced before the Special Judge on Monday evening after the expiry of his remand period.
Bandodkar had last week moved the Special Court for regular bail, which will come up for hearing on January 15.
In his bail plea, Bandodkar had submitted that he has been falsely implicated in the case, adding that his role was limited to passing of plan within the prescribed limit of area given under the law.
He had also contended that he had acted within the powers of law.
