Dubai-based cruise ship to call on Goa

PANJIM, JAN 30 Royal Caribbean International's cruise ship Brilliance of the Seas' will call on Goa during her second season from her homeport of Dubai. Apart from seven-night Dubai-Fujairah-Muscat-Abu Dhabi-Dubai Gulf cruises, Royal Caribbean is introducing two 12-night itineraries that include ports in India.

Royal Caribbean International’s cruise ship Brilliance of the Seas’ will call on Goa during her second season from her homeport of Dubai. Apart from seven-night Dubai-Fujairah-Muscat-Abu Dhabi-Dubai Gulf cruises, Royal Caribbean is introducing two 12-night itineraries that include ports in India.
These will sail from Dubai to Muscat, then Cochin, Goa and Mumbai, and back to Dubai. As part of these cruises, the ship will call on Goa on April  4 and 16. On both these days, it will arrive at the Mormugao Port at 8 am and depart at 5 pm for Mumbai.
The ship has a crew of 860 serving 2,100 passengers. Owing to high demand, Royal Caribbean will continue to operate even next season, till April 2012.
It operates from the new cruise terminal in Dubai, which is regarded as the most advanced in the Middle East. Her innovative super-yacht design features indoor and outdoor pools, a fitness centre and day spa, an indoor and outdoor sports deck with golf simulator, sports courts, a rock-climbing wall and a jogging track. It also has a wide range of dining options, shopping arcades and a movie theatre.
