VASCO: One person was arrested for a fatal accident at Matvem Dabolim between Honda car, auto rickshaw and Omni car. He was later released on bail.
As per PSI Diago Gracias, the accident between car , auto rickshaw and van took place due to the rash and negligent driving by car driver while proceeding from Vasco to Cortalim. On reaching near the Holy Cross Chapel, Matvem Dabolim the van driver dashed his against an auto rickshaw coming from Cortalim to Vasco.
Ashish Divkar, the car driver, resident of New Vadem, fled from the spot. Parth Bhuptsni, age 26, succumbed to his injuries on the way to GMC.
Vasco police have booked accused under section 279, 337, 304A IPC and section 134(a) and (b) of MV Act.
