FIR Registered After GPS Device Found in Passenger’s Hand Baggage at Goa’s Dabolim Airport

Dabolim Airport Police have registered an FIR after CISF personnel allegedly found a GPS device in the hand baggage of a passenger during security screening at Goa’s Dabolim Airport.

The passenger, identified as Sood, a resident of Himachal Pradesh, was scheduled to travel from Goa to Delhi when the device was allegedly detected in his baggage.

According to police, the GPS device was allegedly being carried without a valid licence or the required documents.

Following the recovery, Dabolim Airport Police registered an FIR and initiated further investigation into the matter. Authorities are examining the circumstances under which the passenger was carrying the device and whether any legal requirements had been violated.
