MARGAO: Goa Forward Party President Vijai Sardesai criticised the government as the State crossed national and world average of the number of positive cases per million population.
Vijai in his tweet said, “Goa has beaten the country and the world average in COVID-19 deaths per million. 303 deaths till Monday, means 150-odd deaths per million when national average is 58 and world average is 120.”

He said, “Now this is the only statistic that matters indirectly taking a dig at the survey which gave an edge to the BJP over other parties in Goa if election were held today.”
Atleast now, will we put all energy into saving lives?, Vijai asked.
