The Office of the Registrar of Cooperative Societies has informed the general public that the permission and No Objection Certificate (NOC) granted to Tirumalla Tirupati Multistate Co-operative Credit Society Ltd. for the extension of its area of operation and the opening of 13 branches in Goa has been withdrawn and cancelled with immediate effect.
According to the Registrar’s office, the decision was taken following an inspection that revealed serious statutory and regulatory violations by the cooperative society. Based on the findings, the authorities concluded that continuation of the permission was not in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
The cancellation effectively restrains the society from operating or expanding its activities within the State of Goa under the withdrawn approval. Further action, if any, will be taken as per provisions of the cooperative laws, officials said.
The Registrar has advised the public to take note of the cancellation while dealing with the concerned cooperative society.
