Pramod Sawant will be awarded the honorary Vidyanidhi Degree during the 44th convocation ceremony of Tilak Maharashtra Vidyapeeth scheduled for March 14 in Pune.
The university has decided to confer the honour on Sawant in recognition of his role in public life and his contributions to governance, education and social development.

The convocation programme will take place at the university’s campus in Gultekdi, where the Goa Chief Minister will be formally presented with the honorary degree in the presence of students, faculty members and invited dignitaries.
