PONDA: Milk farmers attached to the Goa Dairy received a support price of Rs 7 crore from the State government. In all 3,173 farmers received a support price of Rs 3.6 crore for the months of April and May while 2,916 farmers got Rs 3.3 crore for the months of June and July for supplying milk to the dairy.
A Goa Dairy official said that the farmers received the pending support price from April to July. He said the amount was pending on account of the delay in completing formalities.
