PONDA: Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar on Thursday stated that Goa would need the support of a BJP-led central government to initiate various developmental projects in the State.
Addressing a BJP-MGP meeting at Tisk-Ponda, Parrikar appealed to the people to vote for the development of Goa, which needs about Rs 5,000 crore for its development of bridges, highways and sewerage treatment plants.
“It will not possible for the State government to undertake development works without the Centre’s help,” stated Parrikar.
