MARGAO: Margao Town Police on Sunday arrested 24-year-old Maulali Zamadar from his native place at Halyal in Karnataka and recovered all the gold he had stolen on April 4 from Devkar Jewellers store at New Market in Margao.
On April 4, Maulali entered the jewellery store when Snehal Devkar was alone in the shop and under the pretext of purchasing gold asked to be shown gold ornaments. When Snehal was distracted he walked away gold ornaments worth Rs 4,28,900.
