MARGAO: Tito Cardozo, who has recently taken over as the Deputy Chairman of Margao Municipal Council said he has prepared a list of things that needed to be done in the council, while adding that he had the support of both, the Chairperson as well as Town and Country Planning Minister Vijai Sardessai.
Being a councillor for the second term he agreed not everything was right in the council and many people still go away disappointed.
It is not right that people have to come repeatedly for simple things like birth certificate or income certificate, he said.
He said there were shortfalls in every department of the council and promised to call for a meeting of all sections heads separately to identify the problems in each section and accordingly address them.
“It will be my goal to make the administration of the council alive to the needs and aspirations of the public first,” he said.
