During his homily, Fr. Ferrao reflected on the virtues and divine grace bestowed upon the Blessed Virgin Mary. He emphasized that Mary, chosen by God to be the Mother of Jesus, remained sinless throughout her life and continues to lovingly care for all. Drawing a symbolic connection, he noted that while sin entered humanity through a tree, salvation also came through the tree of the Cross.

He reminded the faithful that the feast is a celebration of God’s abundant grace and mercy, urging them to embrace God’s grace in their daily lives. He encouraged the congregation to be true servants of God, live out the teachings of Christ, pray earnestly, and serve others with love.

Adding a special charm to the celebration, several children dressed as Mother Mary and angels, bringing joy and devotion to the feast festivities.
