The Ponda Municipal Council has initiated the demolition of eight unauthorized stalls encroaching on the road-widening zone opposite Saraswat Bank in Kaziwada, Ponda. The move comes in compliance with a directive issued by the High Court.
The demolition drive began under the supervision of Rajesh Sakhalkar, Joint Mamlatdar I of Ponda Taluka, who is serving as the Executive Magistrate to maintain law and order during the operation. The action is being carried out in coordination with personnel from the Ponda Police Station.
