Police said Sanjay Chabra, 36, from Delhi, who managed to sneak into the camp on Friday at around 4.30 pm impersonating himself as Major Sandeep Mehra, was treated for depression after his arrest. He was discharged and later remanded to judicial custody, they informed.
Police said after sneaking in to the camp the impersonator entered a brigadier’s residence and created a ruckus after which the army personnel caught him and handed him over to police. “We arrested him for trespass and impersonation and have sought more details regarding his antecedents,” police stated.
