An infant sustained a minor injury when a mango tree came crashing down on the residential house at Cuncolim on Saturday.
The infant was hit by a broken tile on the hand. The total loss caused to the house owned by one Ulhas Naik is put at over Rs 20,000.
Elsewhere, the fire brigade said that a portion of a house collapsed at Borda near BM servicing centre. No one was injured in the incident.
In another incident, a coconut tree came crashing down on a residential house at Cananguinim.
