VASCO: The Kadamba Transport Corporation Limited (KTCL) bus carrying students rammed into a roadside electric pole at Murdi, near Velsao Pale lake on Thursday morning.
Fortunately no student travelling in the bus was injured.

The KTC bus driver was picking students along the route and transporting them to a school at Chicalim. On reaching Murdi, the driver lost his control of the vehicle, the bus rammed into electric pole and skidded off the road damaging a shop. The accident occurred when the driver was attempting to give side to an oncoming bus on a narrow road.
On getting the information Velsao-Pale-Issorcim panchayat member Remedios Noronha and locals rushed to the spot and rescued the students. The police too reached the spot as vehicular traffic was block following the mishap.
