PANJIM: The Congress on Thursday alleged fraud in the recruitment process of the Kadamba Transport Corporation (KTC).
Speaking to mediapersons, Congress spokesperson Sudip Tamhankar said that by not sending call letters for interviews to all the applicants for the posts, the KTC management was favouring only certain candidates.
“We have information that there were sixty applicants for the posts of security guards, fifty applicants for the posts of conductors and 196 applicants for the posts of drivers. Instead of sending call letters, we know that only certain persons have been called for interviews through personal calls,” Tamhankar said.
“When we were protesting the scrapping of posts filled during the last few days of the Congress government, Parrikar told all our applicants to produce the registered AD letters sent to the applicants. Where is that principle now?” he asked.
