Sleuths of the Excise department from Salcete on Thursday evening raided two places at Bapsora-Betul and Cuncolim market and seized liquor worth Rs 4000.
Excise Inspector Milagres Soares, who led the raiding team, informed that the two outlets had no Excise license to sell liquor.
He said the raids were conducted after information was gathered by the Excise staff that liquor, including Beer was sold at these two premises.
A case has been registered under the Excise Act against the two persons.
Further investigations are on.
