VASCO: In a tragic incident, a 30-year-old motorcyclist Banu Gautam, a resident of Uttorda and a native of UP was crushed under the wheels of a minibus at Uttorda on Tuesday morning.
Verna Police have arrested KTC bus driver Braney Albuqurque, a resident of Curtorim for rash and negligent driving.
Verna Police said that the incident reported at around 11.30 am when Gautam, who is a carpenter by profession was proceeding towards Uttorda in his two-wheeler.
“While the victim was proceeding towards Uttorda from highway, a minibus which was proceeding in same direction crushed the victim. We have arrested the accused bus drive for rash and negligent driving and further investigation is in progress,” police said.
