MARGAO: Maina Curtorim Police on Tuesday registered an FIR against three youth for allegedly kidnapping an 11-year-old school girl from Loutolim on Monday.
Police have launched a search for Jairul Islam, Khiril Islam and Rabbul Islam, all natives of Assam, who are missing along with the minor girl for over 24 hours.
According to the information the girl was staying with her parents in a rented house in Lotoulim and had informed her parents that she was going to school in civil clothes for a cultural function.
When she failed to return from school, the parents registered a complaint with Maina Curtorim police. A teacher said she had seen the girl with the three boys outside the school.
