NGO Flags Unauthorised Advertisement Display at Mapusa KTC Bus Stand on Anti-Corruption Day

An NGO has raised serious concerns over an unauthorised advertisement displayed at the entrance of the KTC Bus Stand in Mapusa, alleging that it was installed without permission or payment of fees to the Kadamba Transport Corporation Ltd (KTCL).

In a statement issued on December 9, coinciding with International Anti-Corruption Day, the organisation questioned whether the KTCL Chairman, Managing Director and General Manager were aware of the irregularity occurring within a bus stand directly under their management.

“Is the Chairman, MD and General Manager of KTCL aware of what is going on in the bus stand managed by them? Will the Directorate of Transport take immediate action?” the NGO asked, calling for swift intervention from authorities.

The issue has sparked debate over enforcement lapses and accountability within state-run transport facilities. Officials have yet to comment on the matter.
