Noronha confirmed as GPSC Chairman

PANJIM: The State has appointed Jose Manuel Noronha as the new Chairman of the Goa Public Service Commission (GPSC). The notification confirming his appointment came on Tuesday following a recent cabinet approval. He has been holding the post since 2016 as acting chairman, and Tuesday’s notification confirms the appointment.
As per the notification,  Noronha’s tenure commences once he assumes charge till the date he completes a cumulative tenure of six years including service rendered as member or until he attains the age of 62 years, whichever is earlier.
