MAPUSA: Senior official P S Reddy visited the flood-hit areas in Bardez on Saturday and took stock of situation in Nadora and Camurlim.
Reddy along with Bardez Mamlatdar Laxmikant Kuttikar, Joint Mamlatdar Rajaram Parab, Talathis Vivek Korgaonkar and Sakharam Parab inspected the flood-hit Nadora as water and sludge had entered the houses.

Later, the officials visited Camurlim and interacted with the locals who demanded compensation for losses.
On Saturday, the people who were moved to safer places returned and started clearing the water and sludge from their houses.
