The overbridge project aims to provide a permanent solution to long-standing traffic snarls at the level crossing, which sees heavy vehicular movement, especially during peak hours. Once completed, the bridge is expected to streamline traffic flow and reduce delays for commuters.

The public has been advised to use alternate routes during the construction period, and appropriate traffic management measures are being coordinated by the authorities.
