Passports release ordered in CD case

The South Goa Additional Sessions Judge P V Kamat on Wednesday ordered the release of the passports of the producer of the Konkani audio CD Dogui Bodmas Calvert Gonsalves and singer Osvy Viegas.
The court passed the order today following an application made by the duo for release of their passports seized by the Crime Branch. While releasing the passports, the Judge is believed to have put a condition that they should intimate the court if they plan to travel out of the country.
The Crime Branch had attached the passports of Calvert and Osvy during investigations into the case registered against them at the height of the agitation against the release of the CD.
