According to Vasco police, the accident occurred at about 8 pm when the driver of the car, Vinod Chandra Thakker (62) resident of Kolhapur, suffered a stroke and lost control over the car and hit a pedestrian, Vasudev Gad (65) resident of New Vaddem. The driver and pedestrian died while undergoing treatment at Cottage hospital at Chicalim. Police have registered a case under the M V Act and PSI Rohan Madgaonkar is investigating the case

VASCO: Two persons, a driver and a pedestrian, died in a road accident at New Vaddem, Vasco on Tuesday evening.
