A 58-year-old pedestrian from Maina Bhatti, Arpora, died after he was knocked down by a speeding rickshaw near Salt Lake ground at Arpora-Baga junction on Wednesday morning.
According to Anjuna police, Pandurang Mayekar was knocked down by the rickshaw (GA-03-T-4285) driven by Devanand Shankar Lamani (24) from Candolim.
Police informed that Mayekar was seriously injured who later succumbed to injuries.
Police have arrested Lamani and is investigating the case.
