These truck owners are demanding that the transport contractor pay the market rate for transportation service of providing sand, laterite stone and concrete material.

They claimed that the rate provided by the company is not affordable to them since it is not as per market rate.

President Milind Shetye said that from the last one year they are communicating with the transport contractor and company with regards to providing market rate for the service. However, the transport contractor has directly rejected to provide market rate stating that if the local truck owners are not ready to provide service then they will hire outsiders for the same.
