Rajesh Kumar has swapped his posting with Saligao PI Nilesh Rane, who had earlier held charge of Calangute station. Eight other police inspectors were also transferred, on Friday, following the transfers of two SPs on Thursday. SPs Priyanka Kashyap (North) and Umesh Gaonkar (Special Branch) had been asked to swap positions.
In other transfers, PI Shailesh Narvekar of Mormugao PS has replaced Verna PI Uday Parab, who has been transferred to Special Branch. Agassaim PI Devendra Gad has been shifted to GRP, while PI Pravin Pawar has been given charge of Agassaim Police Station. PI Shivram Vaigankar has been transferred to the Economic Offences Cell, while PI Ramnath alias Kapil Naik has been shifted to Mormugao PS, PI Filomeno Costa to Canacona PS and PI Gurudas Kadam has been transferred to the Vigilance/Anti-Corruption Branch.
