Priyanka Dance Academy, Mapusa, recently celebrated its 12th anniversary at Hanuman Theatre, Mapusa.
Mapusa Municipal Council Chairperson Roopa Bhakta was the chief guest for the function.
Speaking to Herald, Academy Director Priyanka Rane said they have received good response from the public during the course of last 12 years and at present there are 110 students on the roll.
Four forms of dances, Bharatnatyam, Folk, Classical and Bollywood are being taught in the Academy. They have got three branches in Mapusa and by June end, the Academy plans to open a branch in Panjim.
The students of the Academy performed various dances. Yogesh Pednekar compered.
