QUEPEM: Property worth around Rs one lakh was destroyed in a fire reported in a cashew plantation at Ambaulim, Quepem.

“The plantation at Ambaulim caught fire at around 12.O5 pm and we managed to douse the fire after one-and-half hours”, informed Curchorem Fire Fighter Umesh Acharya.
The Curchorem fire fighting team comprised Umesh Acharya, Manoj Gaonkar and Nikhil Naik.
