Without naming former chief minister Digambar Kamat, who is being investigated as prime conspirator in the case, Sudin pointed at him as the cause of a Rs 30 crore work delay.
“You all know why the work under JICA has slowed down. It has impacted us, the government as the work was already underway. Since the government has terminated the contract (awarded to Louis Berger), we have requested that all work under JICA be transferred under PWD,” he told the House as Kamat, present during the reply, looked at him.
There was no discussion on the scam either by the government or the opposition benches.
