MAYEM: The famous Redyachi Zatra of Srimaya Kelbai Panchaytan Devasthan Mayem was celebrated with traditional fervour on Monday and Tuesday.
On the occasion, the ‘Tarang’ of God Devkikrishna Pisso Ravlu from Marcela was brought to Mayem in a canoe.
Celebrations commenced at about 8 pm from Mahamaya Temple, Gaonkarwada-Mayem, during which the Kalash of Goddess Kelbai was taken to Kelbai Temple. This was followed by lighting of (Male) torch, Pet and Tarangdevata accompanied by Dhonds and devotees.
The Kaulotsav of God Devkrishna Pisso Ravalnath from Marcela was held on Tuesday dawn, where a large number of devotees sought the blessings from the Goddess.
