MARGAO: Claiming that the High Court order on the Serula communidade matter has gone in his favour, Tourism Minister Dilip Parulekar has rejected the demands for his resignation.
“Where is the question of my resignation when the High Court order has come in my favour. The High Court has only told me to follow a process which was not followed. The communidade administrator has been directed to charge me the then rate. After consultation with my lawyer, I now feel that the comunidade may have to refund me the amount since I have paid extra money”, he said.
On his resignation, he said that resignation is being demanded by people who have been rejected by the electorate or have lost their deposits in the last election.
