PANJIM: Public Works Department (PWD) on Friday announced there will be restricted water supply to Tiswadi taluka, defence establishments and Goa Medical College (GMC) on April 7 and 8 due to urgent maintenance works at Opa Water Treatment plant.
Speaking to Herald, PWD executive engineer Dileep Dhavalikar said, “The electricity department will be changing the Opa feeder tomorrow and with that work scheduled we took the opportunity to do maintenance works of the plant simultaneously otherwise an extra day would be wasted.”
