The agitated workers led by Ajitsingh Rane later rushed into the office of Sports Director V M Prabhudesai, enquiring about the assurance given by the sports minister to reinstate 75 workers. Prabhudesai said the file had been forwarded to the cabinet 10 days ago, however, Rane claimed that the sports minister is not showing any positive interest in the matter.
SAG employees also protest
Employees of the Sports Authority of Goa (SAG) who have been demanding reinstatement after being terminated protested outside the SAG office on Friday.
