PERNEM: A mobile snatcher was arrested and phones worth Rs 1, 50,000 were recovered from him.
Saligao Police arrested one Azeez Asif (28) native of Bangalore in connection with the mobile and bag snatching complaint filed by a woman from Parra. She had stated that at 9.30 pm, her bag containing a Samsung phone, Jiofi and other articles had been stolen by unknown persons. In addition to recovering those articles, the police in total recovered one Apple iphone, three Vivo, one Oppo, one MI and two Samsung mobiles phone along with mobile chargers. Asif further admitted to stealing these mobiles between November 2 and 4, from different parts of North Goa.
