Reacting to the statements made by the Sanvordem Village Panchayat during a recent press conference over the alleged library fund scam, Sanket Bhandari has strongly refuted the panchayat’s claims, accusing its members of lying and misleading the public by showcasing a wrong building as the village library.
Bhandari alleged that library materials had been shifted to another location, where there is no signage indicating it as a library. He added that the benches, which had been missing for nearly two years, were suddenly restored only recently, suggesting attempts to cover up irregularities.

He further clarified that the funds were sanctioned for a shed located at the correct address in Xeldem, whereas the new building displayed by the panchayat during the press conference is situated elsewhere.
Calling the accusations made against him “baseless and fabricated,” Bhandari maintained that the panchayat’s statements were an attempt to mislead the public and divert attention from the real issue concerning the alleged misuse of library funds.
