PANJIM: The Directorate of Education has asked all schools to set up a ‘Children Transportation Committee’ in each school to ensure the safe transportation of school children. Director of Education Shailesh Zigde in a circular said that the Children Transportation Committees have to be constituted as per the Sub-Rule (2) Of Rule 5 of the Goa Motor vehicles (Regulation for School Buses) 2015.
All heads of schools have been requested to submit a compliance report in the above matter to the Directorate of Education on or before September 7.
